We've all had those moments when you look back and ask yourself "What was I thinking?" Whether it's fashion choices or boyfriends - haha - there will always be things you can't escape from your past. Some friendships and relationships are just snapshots in time.

There are people who will only ever know a fragmented version of you because the situation or relationship only allows you to show half of your colours. And so time and distance goes on and they will never see your full spectrum... And you will remain a faded imprint on their memory.

Some people will cement you as your teenage self or secure you in your early twenties, thinking you'll always be that way. And that's sad because it just means that they're stuck there themselves. But I bet it's those very people that played the biggest part in making you who you are today. If you were bullied, if you were heart-broken, if you were ever made to feel worthless... You can thank those people for pushing you into uncomfortable places that forced you to soul-search. I've been there.

But real friends love you like family - it's unconditional. They listen to the problems without rolling their eyes. They reach out to you when you're alone. They ask if you're OK. They stand by you when you're taking risks. They back you up. And they allow you to grow.

So hold on to the ones who really care, in the end they'll be the only one's there :) I love my peeps.

Lolita Lempicka's Lolita is one of my all time favourite perfumes... it's spicey and intense and makes me feel exotic. Funny how a scent can make you feeeeel something... just like colours... So today I'm wearing something like this ^^^

I wore this get-up for my birthday gig at The Beresford - I just haven't gotten around to editing the stage photos and all that. At some point I hope to have a little video or something - but let's get real here peeps - don't hold your breath haha.

When I ordered this House of Harlow 1960 triangle necklace collar at Market HQ, I wasn't 100% sure if I'd actually like it - I thought it was going to be bigger and more in your face. Anyways - I got it, I put it on... and I haven't take in off. Uh-Oh, a new obsession :)

Lost in a Pair of Galaxy Leggings...

Ahhh the cold days of Sydney... Of Autumn... Of Winter.... It's all coming round so quickly and I've just started to realize I'm completely unprepared!! Loads of shorts and dresses and maxi skirts but not a huge range of pants live in my winter wardrobe. Eeek!

You gotta know by now how much I love a little galaxy gazing... So, I've started with these Evil Twin "Outer Limits" velvety leggings found at Beginning Boutique. And I'm thinking this winter, I'm gonna be doing a lot more print leggings. Oh woah - WATCH OUT! haha

New serious obsession? The latest tanks from UNIF Clothing... Lucky for me they're available at Market HQ and I've been stocking up from my big win from the MHQ Style Off! And speaking of - they're got SO much new stuff over there I recommend you check it out :)

On a more studded boot kinda note (did you see what I just did there - totally seamless segway)... I just found these babies on wantedshoes.com.au ... They're my favourite ROC Boots... with STUDS. Ahhhhhh. #WinterWishNumber1

The New Aztecs

I have a new obsession. Well two actually, no lets make it three... Meet my new Motel Rocks aztec print skirt, UNIF tank and le pièce de résistance, this sequin cape from the undeniably attention grabbing Evil Twin... All wrapped up in this mojo-perfect combo - I say mojo-perfect because I can't think of anything better to describe myself in one look!

In fact, the cape (and other pieces are all available from Market HQ) is so devine that it's currently doubling as my early morning cardigan when I run out for coffee before I have the chance to get fully functioning - it really dresses up a pair of black harem trackies and completely cancels out the need for any make-up *grins*.

I'll let you in on a little sequin secret I live by... In between shoots and gigs where I'm totally hair and make-upped I like to enjoy the days of 'work' where I can lounge around in 'no-glam' whilst editing photos and videos. But alas, the showgirl in me (from my childhood dancing days - yes I've done A Chorus Line and know how to tap dance) always wants something a little more Gypsy Rose Lee in my day... So the trick is to always put on one thing that's completely rockin' - it makes you feel good while you probably look crap - haha!

Hence, my new Evil Twin, Rossi lipstick from Gorgeous Cosmetics and a pair of geekchic glasses - and voi-la instant feel goodness at home!

Fashion Week After Parties by mojomade

I'm in Dicko's Music Clip for Celebrity Apprentice Australia!

Last night was the final episode for Celebrity Apprentice Australia - and I helped Dicko out with his winning video clip! It was a total blast working with him and the gorgeous Miss Universe Australia, Jesinta Campbell. (Yes she's just as sweet and taaaall in person hehe)

We filmed it all in one day and whilst musically it's nothing like what I do - I was so grateful to be helping out for Dicko's charity of choice and that he wanted to pay the love forward in giving an Aussie musician a leg up.

So now I'm getting all these questions over twitter and email asking about THOSE SHORTS! I styled myself of course, and if you're a regular reader of my blog you'll recognize the gold sequin hotties as Tight Tigers. The Traveller #3 by mojomade

So I've got the return long-haul flight back to Australia coming up and again thinking about comfort and style for the ride home. I bought so many warm furry-like things over thinking that New York would be cold and it was actually hotter than LA! And this whole trip, I seemed to find my staple in my black suede Ringo's shorts from One Teaspoon and Wish maxi skirts... mixing them up with a few of the BF's t-shirts a few cute local finds (of course!!)

And I just got this little set for traveling from Ciao Bella Travel Accessories.
Yes, I know... MORE yellow/mustard. If you see a girl walking around looking like a life-size banana - it's me, come and say hi.
