I'm in Dicko's Music Clip for Celebrity Apprentice Australia!

Last night was the final episode for Celebrity Apprentice Australia - and I helped Dicko out with his winning video clip! It was a total blast working with him and the gorgeous Miss Universe Australia, Jesinta Campbell. (Yes she's just as sweet and taaaall in person hehe)

We filmed it all in one day and whilst musically it's nothing like what I do - I was so grateful to be helping out for Dicko's charity of choice and that he wanted to pay the love forward in giving an Aussie musician a leg up.

So now I'm getting all these questions over twitter and email asking about THOSE SHORTS! I styled myself of course, and if you're a regular reader of my blog you'll recognize the gold sequin hotties as Tight Tigers. Playin' in Melbourne Town.

It's been way too long since I played a gig in Melbourne, but finally last Thursday night I hit the stage at Yah Yah's  along with Brisbane 5-piece The Secret Whisper and Melbourne natives Thnkr. It's always a nice surprise when you turn up to a place you've never played and find awesome sound, a cool vibe and welcoming guys behind the bar! (That part has nothing to do with my music, it's only to help my Sambucca-shot-habbit that I picked up since hitting it hard over Christmas with my mum - haha!)

I did a little cover of Elvis Presley's 'That's Alright' with my loop pedal and as I finished and they played the Elvis-in-Vegas-Entrace song. On vinyl through the speakers.
Heaven.
Total Rock'N'Roll.

A few pics from last Friday's gig at The Lair, supporting Sons of Mercury and The Former Love.

I hit the stage solo with Penny Lane (my Taylor Guitar) and Jimmi (my JamMan looping pedal) for the all ages gig. Rocked out some spankin' new tunes and had a blast playin to the sold out crowd.
