Kookai celebrates 20 years with a trip to Marrakech

I don't often post about label look-books or campaigns... But Kookai's Spring Summer collection [Arabesque] has my heart beating in excitement for melting summer days, cool beachy nights and, let's be honest, those dresses in the first image!

Neon on bronze. Prints on dust. Colour on fire. 


All I wanna do is jump on a plane to Morocco and read The Alchemist. There's something magical, ancient and awe inspiring about these images, I feel like I'm a part of it just by looking at them. To me, that's what fashion photography is all about - being able to transport yourself and immerse your imagination in a vibe... Getting lost in the magic of it all...

So Morocco is defs on my my travel-lust-list. Where do you wanna go?

Market HQ - the online store that's keeping me in some seriously rad clothes for the year (thanks to my big $10,000 wardrobe win in their Style-Off competition) is boasting a whole lotta new threads! The images above are from their latest lookbook and I helped work on the styling and the shoot as part of my prize.

You can see the entire lookbook here on the Market HQ Blog. I had all these awesome images and video to post on here but lost it all in the epic hard-drive crash of May 2012. Bummed!

So instead... I'll share a few behind the scenes peeks that I posted on Instagram and a couple of looks I've styled myself with some of my choices from the big win!

More stripes

OK, I'll admit it... I'm a little obsessed with stripes lately... All kinds of stripes on all kinds of things. I'm dreaming about my dream house lately too - currently I'm planning on having a room where the stripes on the walls blend over the stripes on the door. Like a secret door. 

I've always wanted secret passageways. And time-warps painted all over everything

Yes, my current dream house is a medieval castle.
