Beach Bohemia in the Back Alleys...

It's just not quite consistent beach weather yet in Sydney and even though it's far from bikini days - I couldn't wait to wear this gorgeous Roxy kaftan. So I tried something a little different with boots & chokers - totally bringin' back the 1970's boho grunge bitch riiiigghhhh?

When I was a teenager back in Perth I was obsessed with Roxy - couldn't get me in anything else... I grew out of it as I grew out of the beachy surf style my home-town is known for. And it's been a while since the laid back Aussie label has entered my wardrobe... But with this little baby (thanks to The Arc Factory) I think I'll be mixing my summer beach background with my inner city lifestyle.

Sometimes you gotta invent a whole universe...
just with what you have.

Freedom Comes From Within

Top: Roxy c/o The Arc Factory   |   Blazer: Mink Pink & House of Harlow Triangle Collar @ Market HQ
Long triangle: Recreational   |   Headband: Made by me

I'm feeling so much more creative lately.
(Note the home-made headband with skull hair-tie detail... clearly the work of a creative genius)

I think I have that 'seasonal depression' thing - where grey days make you feel grey and the sun makes you happy. Or is that just everyone??

We found this bright orange hallway in the back alley to my fave local coffee haunt Bay 88, which even though I get my morning kick there about 4 times a week I've never actually noticed...Could this whole thing be any more streets of Mexico?!

So, I've made a new new year's resolution- to open my eyes more, to listen more, to look deeper, to never say never and find the freedom in all things.
