Well it's that time of the year when sunshine and champagne go hand in hand with hats, horses, fashion and throwing your money down. I for one, am a huge fan of the big hat and a bold print - I like the idea of doing something different when all the other girls are wearing dresses. A bright and warm day at the races is what I had in mind when putting this look together for my "Blogger's Edit" feature I recently did with The Iconic Magazine (Spring Issue is out now). And I am obsessed with these Cooper St pants - if I could sleep in them, I would. Let the spring racing season begin!

So fashion has come to a point where I'm pretty sure I could wear my pyjama pants out in daylight. Well played, fashun. I will admit though, that I love the idea of getting out of bed, throwing on some heels, copious amounts of jewelry and a crazy fish-tail mess of hair to turn my sleepwear into effortless chic in the sunlight... But alas, I generally opt for real clothes that just happen to look like sleepwear for my daily dose of dressing.

Recently, the gorgeous girls at The Iconic asked me to be part of The Blogger's Edit for The Iconic Magazine's spring issue. I decided to tackle a tricky trend for the season: The Printed Pants. This is the first look I put together, styled head to toe with incredible pieces all available now at theiconic.com.au

I haven't always been a fan of the 'drop-crotch' pant - I'm pretty short, and they generally make me look like a munchkin. But THEN I found this floral print pair by August Street which are equal parts girly with the floral brush-stroke print, and equal parts bad-ass. I'll admit it's not so often that I try something on and totally swoon over it... But with these, it's absolutely true love.

So how do you not look short with these? The trick is a pair of killer booties like these babies.
